Omar Khayyam was a prominent Iranian scientist, mathematician, astronomer, and poet of the 11th and 12th centuries. His full name is Ghiyath al-Din Abu al-Fath Omar ibn Ibrahim Khayami of Neyshabur. He was born in Neyshabur, one of the important cities of Greater Khorasan, and died in the same city.Khayyam was highly intelligent and talented and studied in various scientific and philosophical fields. In Neyshabur, he studied various sciences such as philosophy, logic, jurisprudence, mathematics, and astronomy with prominent professors of the time, including Imam Mawfaq of Neyshabur. There’s Never Enough Laughter

Like a favorite song played on repeat

I love to hear your laugh, it can’t be beat

Undoubtedly, Hakim Abolghasem Ferdowsi Tusi, the great poet of Iran, was not only a master storyteller; he was also considered the architect of the literary and cultural independence of this ancient land. At a time when the Arabic language and culture were expanding, by creating the Shahnameh, Ferdowsi not only preserved a treasure trove of authentic Persian vocabulary, but also revived the national and linguistic identity of the Iranians.

The Shahnameh, this great work, by narrating the mythological, heroic, and historical stories of pre-Islamic Iran, created an unbreakable bond between the different generations of this land and its rich cultural heritage. By keeping alive the customs, values, and beliefs of our ancestors, Ferdowsi prevented cultural self-destruction and sowed the seeds of national pride in our hearts.
