WME United Football/Soccer Team
What a game! E-Sohna is one of the most decorated teams in Gambia, founded by a former Gambian player named Ebrima Sohna, who was our national team captain during his time.
His academy is well-structured, boasting exceptional facilities, and he deserves immense credit for supporting countless young talents in their footballing journeys. He truly is a remarkable man.
We played with unwavering focus, remaining compact and giving everything for the badge.
The match ended in a stalemate, with both teams leaving the pitch with a score of 0-0, each earning a single point.
As it stands, we are currently leading our group with 5 points.
Our final match on Wednesday will be crucial; a victory will secure our place in the next round of sixteen.

Our 2025 Annual Report reflects a year of real structure, growth, and commitment across every level of our academy.
With 45 registered players across U12-U17-60 projected for 2026, one player promoted to the next level, and six identified top talents, our development pathway is clearer than ever.
Our support this year included first-aid kits, official match balls, goal nets and posts, cones, markers, hurdles, ladders, cooler boxes, food and refreshments, full transportation support, 60 full team kits, compete coverage of all tournaments registration fees, and two cultural sport competitions with cash prizes and certifications.
We also celebrate Coach Basirou Manneh for earning his D-License in 2025, a key milestone in our coaching development.
Grateful for every effort behind these achievements, and confident in the stronger, more organized pathway we are building for 2026.
