I know this picture looks silly, but there's a lot more to it than what a first glance reveals.
You see, even though this was a prank played by my friends 20 years ago, there is a special story attached:
It was drawn by a man with no hands.
That's right, this work of art was created by Mike Davenport, a local celebrity if you were in the know. Residing in Athens, Georgia, he drew beautiful works of art with only a few markers...
...and his mouth.
If I ever feel sorry for myself, all I have to do is look up at this picture.
First, it reminds me that I have the kind of friends who will tip a stranger $20 to make fun of me.
Second, it reminds me that I have no excuses. How could I, when there is a man out there who has done thousands of these drawings?
